Record-breaking flower show

Green-fingered residents in Weston enjoyed a blooming good day ascrowds flocked to enjoy the flower show.

Several hundred people descended on All Saints Centre in the HighStreet on Saturday to admire the impressive display of beautifulblooms and pristine produce.

The annual Weston Village Flower Show faced an uncertain futurejust a few years ago due to a lack of support.

But the latest event proved it was well and truly back on track,attracting both a record number of exhibitors and competitionentries.
