WA:21-year-old man dies in Perth crash

PERTH, Dec 31 AAP - A 21-year-old man has died in a car collision at Connolly, in Perth's north.

Police say just before 11am (WST) on Saturday morning, a black Nissan Silvia was travelling
north on Marmion Avenue, Connolly, when it collided with a silver Ford Falcon sedan travelling
south on the same road. The two vehicles collided at the intersection of Diablo Way.

The passenger in the Nissan Silvia, a man from Heathridge, died as a result of the
injuries he received in the crash.

Police are asking anyone with information regarding the crash, or who saw either of
the vehicles involved prior to the crash, to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.

The death raises the state's holiday road toll to 5.
